Shem Creek Presbyterian Church is a new church for a growing town.

The vision for Shem Creek Presbyterian Church is to grow in the Gospel for Christ and community.

Our vision for our new church is inspired by Peter's final words to the early Christian church. Peter writes, "But grow in the grace and knowlege of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3.18).

At SCPC, we want to see men and women grow spiritually as they understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how it shapes every facet of life. 

Moreover, we want people to grow in their faith for the glory of Jesus Christ - so that he will get the honor and glory through us.

Finally, we want to grow in the Gospel for our community. We want to see Mt. Pleasant and Charleston embrace the crucified and risen Savior and live for him. We pray that the triune God will use Shem Creek Presbyterian Church to reach individuals and families in Mt. Pleasant, Charleston, and throughout the Lowcountry.

Join us on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. for worship at the historic Darby Building as we grow in the Gospel for Christ and community.
